Sousuke is so pissed of by the email that he runs out of his apartment and shouts out loud. Demanding to see Wraith. When nobody replies him, he begins saying top secret information on Mithril and his mission. This gets him a call from Wraith. Wraith is not your usual nice guy. He is sarcastic and hurts Sousuke’s pride. He tells Sousuke that Sousuke is just a killer and he can’t protect anyone and he urges him to leave Kaname and return to Mithril.

The next day, on the way to school Kaname is in a good mood. Kyoko comments that something good must have happened but Kaname shrugs it off with her usual laugh. In school, Sousuke’s seat is empty and he doesn’t turn up for the whole day causing Kaname to be worried and disappointed.

Elsewhere, Sousuke is packing up his house. He is about to stamp the withdrawal form for the school when Kaname calls. He is hesistant to pick up the phone. When he reaches for it, she hangs up. He wanted to call back but reminds himself about his orders. He packs the remain stuff off into the van and leaves. We get a brief scene of him crying.(it seems like he was though it was raining)

After school Kaname goes home with Kyoko. While they are happily chatting Xia Yu Lan appears and walks past Kaname. Kaname immediately feels something is wrong, she turns around but Xia Yu Lan is not there. She calls Sousuke but there isn’t any answer. She appologises to Kyoko and goes home.

At home, Kaname is scared and she hides under her pillow(as if doing that will help). She hears a sound from the door and she goes check it out. But it just one of those advertisement brochures. She tells herself she is too paranoid. Then her phone rings. She picks it up and says hello. No reply. After 10s, the caller hangs up. Kaname is trully afraid now. She tries to ring Sousuke again but no answer. Then she remembers some morse code thingy from the TDD and rushes to Sousuke’s apartment(she remembers his equipment there i think). She opens the door only to find it empty. No Sousuke, no furniture and no radio equipment. She is stunned.

Though not really action packed, this episode is really a nice build up to the climax with Kaname going paranoid and all. Anyway next episode airs on the 14 of September due to the tennis thingy. That is like three weeks away. Crap… Who wants to watch tennis anyway…
